LOUDER THAN WORDS"

The pen is mightier than the sword, or so they say. I don’t know how true that is, but I will say this: Pens are certainly a lot less intimidating. How about this next one? A picture is worth a thousand words. Ever wonder why that is? The first things that pop up in my mind are some of the more complex paintings and photographs that I saw during this pandemic . Why, I could write a thousand words about a single painting easily!
So let's have a look at some of the most powerful images during this pandemic around the world.
1.New Banksy piece celebrates superhero health workers.
The elusive artist has created a piece called Game Changer that has gone on display, nicely framed, in a corridor at Southampton general hospital. It shows a boy dressed in dungarees playing with a nurse superhero toy, with figures of Batman and Spider-Man discarded in a bin.The nurse, wearing a face mask and a white apron featuring a red cross, has her arm raised as if she is flying, with a cape fluttering behind her. Banksy left a note for hospital workers, saying: “Thanks for all you’re doing. I hope this brightens the place up a bit, even if it’s only black and white.”
2.The plight of the homeless.
3. Immigrant workers during the lockdown.
The disease of the rich have affected the poor brutally. Workers have to travel hundred of kilometres on foot during this lockdown. They said that they have no money and their family are worried about them. These workers are not given help by state or central government. Also in the term of returning to their homes several workers died on the way.
4. Palghar Mob lynching incident.
On 16th March 2020, a vigilante mob lynched two saints and their driver in the GADCHINCHALE VILLAGE , Palghar district, Maharastra. The incident was fulled by the Whatsapp rumors. Villagers assumed them as thieves and beat them until death. The saddest part was that the saint was holding the hand of the policeman, in the hope that he will save him. But all went in vain.
5. VIZAG GAS LEAK
The Visakhapatnam gas leak, also referred to as the Vizag gas leak, was an industrial accident that occurred at the LG Polymers chemical plant in R. R. Venkatapuram village near Gopalapatnam on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, on the early morning of 7 May 2020. This lead to the death of 12 people and hundreds were hospitalised. This incident reminded of BHOPAL GAS TRAGEDY.
6. Bollywood lost it's two Gems.
Just one after one Bollywood has lost it's two important gems. Their contribution to the industry was infinite. Such versatile actors has respect in the industry as well as enormous fan following. Irfan died on Wednesday at 53 years old after battling neuroendocrine tumour for two years. Rishi Kapoor died a day later on Thursday at 67 after fighting leukaemia for more than a year.
7. The LOCKER Room's case.
It's quite shameful but it's the hard reality that the students who study in the best schools of the country are now so much obscent that it's very hard to tell that these children are of just 15-20 years. In its investigation into the 'Bois Locker Room' case, the Delhi Police have stumbled upon a conversation on Snapchat where a girl, posing as a male, suggested a "sexual assault plan" to a boy just to test his "values and character". Also we have seen that in recent days a boy named Manav committed suicide. We really don't know whether he was innocent or guilty. It's really disgusting that now verdicts are given on basis of Instagram messages and public opinions. Just imagine yourself when you have the best Judiciary system and instead of that these things are happening.
8. NATURE BOUNCES BACK IN THIS LOCKDOWN
It is just amazing that the only positive effect of this lockdown is that the nature is healing itself. Many animals are now seen on the roads. Also ozone layer are recovering. The pollution level has drastically decreased. Mount Everest is visible from Bihar villages. It's due to the industries that are closed during this lockdown and less human interaction in the surrounding.
9. RAMAYANA BROKE RECORDS.
Ramayana breaks all records, becomes world's most-watched TV show with 7.7 crore viewership. The re-telecast of Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan has amassed a viewership of 7.7 crores, creating a world record. The mythological tale of principles, truth, and Dharma had fetched an audience of 17 million from the very first week. No one imagined that in the current
scenario today's children will watch them. But proving everyone wrong this show became number one.
