"India:The Lynchistan Hub of the World"

"The Blood which you are seeing is "SECULARISM" in INDIA

Lynching is a premeditated extrajudicial killing by a group. It is most often used to characterise informal public executions by a mob in order to punish an alleged transgressor, punish a convicted transgressor, or intimidate a group. It can also be an extreme form of informal group social control, and it is often conducted with the display of a public spectacle (often in the form of hanging) for maximum intimidation. Instances of lynchings and similar mob violence can be found in every society.

Everyone knows what happened on 17th April 2020 in Maharashtra. A 70 year old man begged for his life to hundred men armed with knives and rods,to the police force,to the children in the mob.Yet they all turned deaf. He was been hit on his head with rods, blood rushed out of his busted head.He held on to the policeman's hand firmly while tears ran down his face in the hope that police saves him.Did you saw the hope that the old person was having? Just imagine the same situation with your parents or grandparents where police would live him to die.Was that policeman don't have the power to save that person. The saint was holding his hand like a small child. The mob has already broken many rules. Police was in the position to open fire or at least "lathhi-charge" against them,

Mob Lynching and a General Perspective:
  • Every person whether a Hindu or Muslim should KNOW that killings and harming the people of one community is NEVER EVER going to solve any kind of social problems.
  • The fact that most of the people taking part in the mob lynching don’t even know what they are doing and who is being punished for what.
  • Courts and other lawful organizations are the ones that are responsible for punishing and tackling the people or offenders of any kind and a MOB is NOT entitled to do so.
  • If the Muslims can implicate that leaders like Yogi Adityanath are spreading communal discord with open support of Hinduism and condemnation of Muslims; they should also think over the public speeches of the likes of Owaisi and other Muslim leaders. But can this mentality help in alleviating the social issues of discord and disputes? No. This has to stop.

    Mob Lynching and MASUKA:

A new law of Manav Suraksha Kanoon (MASUKA) has been passed in the light of various incidents and retaliations of the mob. This law will be properly defining the term lynching, will be making lynching as a non-bailable offence, will incorporate life imprisonment for the ones taking part in mob lynching, and compensation for the persons affected.

  • Same situations happen with Dalits and Generals. Dalits are beaten until death if they violet any rules. They are considered untouchables and they have to face very harsh punishments if they do anything wrong. They are tied to poles and beaten till death. This scenario is very common in parts of Rajasthan. There are huge number of cases where there was no mistake of the victim. Many cases were of untouchability where the dalit have drawn water from well or have touched any high caste people. This is really ridiculous bcause we are living in the era of 21st century and people are having such believes.
  • And then there are politically motivated lynching cases in which some party tries to paint other party as communal. You can A2A this question. I will tell you something deep. Hint: Wearing saffron and making their own video while lynching! Doesn't it look fishy?
  • There was a politically motivated murder of BJP persons in West Bengal and RSS people in Kerala and no one even looks to these cases .Why?
  • Vigilante justice is rapidly becoming a norm in various parts of the country. Mobs are undermining the law, taking to the street, comforted by their safety in numbers, to punish people for crimes without verifying the authenticity of any wrongdoing. Irrespective of the truth in the accusations made by the mob, these extrajudicial killings are in themselves as much crimes as child-lifting (which appears to be the latest cause for the mob).

  • Law and order is a state subject, and the police is responsible for preventing mob violence. But as per the Status of Policing Report 2019 – which surveyed police personnel in 21 states – 35-40% of junior police personnel believe it is “natural” for mobs to “punish” culprits in cases of kidnapping, rape, cow slaughter and road accidents. This strongly points to the urgent need for a systemic overhaul. While the epidemic of lynching wasn’t born out of a flaw in the justice system, it is in effect, a rejection of it.

The current laws of the Indian Penal Code [in section 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 323 (causing voluntary hurt), 147 (rioting), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon) and 149 (unlawful assembly)] are not enough, and there is a need for a law specific to lynching. Bengal, Rajasthan and Manipur have already taken the initiative on this. But legislation is not enough. What is also needed is a change in attitudes.

To dismantle the mob requires collaboration. It requires people to trust the justice system to ensure that criminals will be punished through due process. It requires politicians to stop explicitly, or implicitly, backing the mob, and instead ensure action against it. And it requires State institutions, particularly the police, to act independently and firmly against injustice of all kinds – from mob lynching to child abductions – to truly ensure that India remains a free, just, peaceful and lawful society.
Cases of mob lynching have not just increased, they are evolving and now, the character of the crime is diversified. From going after Muslims who eat cow-meat, mobs are attacking those who are alleged 'child abductors.' First of all, we don't have something which defines hate crimes in a detailed manner. The only section which we can bring into the picture here is Section 153 A. The Parliament can consider making the necessary amendments within the Penal Code instead of drafting a separate law for it.

There should be new rules of death penalty for this violent crime.
We are living in 21st century. We are sensible enough to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. We should always raise our voice against something which is wrong but the inhuman act that we are doing and keeping silent is promoting these types of actions. These actions can happen to you also someday. So please do think about it and don't blindly believe any fake Whats app or Facebook forward and decide what is right or wrong. We are having proper justice system where proper legal system is there and  both sides have been given equal opportunities. We should have faith in it.

EDIT-1 :- First thing that I would like to make clear is that I am not against any religion or any community. The basic idea behind this blog was not to hurt anyone personally. The idea behind the blog was humanity that I felt is biggest thing in this world. I just wanted to bring attention to everyone that in the recent Palghar Lynching case not media coverage was given. Neither the section of society that always stands with people of minority class stood up. For god sake if this incident would have happened to a minority society, then it would have become "HEADLINE" of the newspaper.Bollywood personalities like Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhaskar and many politicians would have bombarded the country with so much questions. They would have said" Minority is not safe in this country". They would have made it an international issue. The problem behind this is the mentality. I just wanted that this type of cases must have been given same importance and same respect that they respect. The INDIAN EXPRESS showed the news that "Thieves are beaten till death by villagers in PALGHAR". I just wanted that this incident gets highlighted so that we understand that there were chances that these people would have been saved. Police would have saved them. I was unable to sleep when I saw that old man holding the hand of the policeman with so much hope. But what happened, he was beaten till death.

  2. Indeed the intolerance has increased in the recent period. But the question that lies is why?
I understand your point but please don't concrete it on Hindus and Muslims. In the blog I have mentioned that Dalits have also suffered a lot. In the period of intolerance there are 38% cases of lynching of Dalits from last few years. I don't have problem with any religion, community or party but the problem lies with the reactions that are given after this incidents. Please read EDIT-1 carefully and understand the main motive behind this blog.
Don't concrete it to specific religion.

    1. Yes I agree with you that we are smart enough to decide that what is right and what is wrong ...some sections are punished for nothing and those who act as if they are the law stakeholders are taking this for granted that they can do whatever they want as India is a country that follows secularism. Some sections of the society are really facing difficult situations ,indeed a penal code should be enforced against such people.
